Australia was an easy night for us! Many of the recipes were so similar in culture to ours, but this burger got my attention! They call it a “burger with the lot” and we had a busy week, so it seemed like an easy one to do.
A burger with the lot can vary, but the common denominators I saw were a beef patty, cheese, bbq sauce, bacon, lettuce, tomato, grilled pineapple, a fried egg, and sliced beets! That’s a LOT of toppings!
We made it with some baked french fries and although we didn’t really care for the beets on top, the other toppings were good. Most of us ended up making our own combo of burger and enjoyed all the parts on their own, but not quite together as a whole. My husband has always enjoyed fried eggs on his burgers, so this was a hit for him.
Altogether, it was good, and we ranked it a 8/10. It was a nice meal for a hectic week!
